TPS- Code 63
Hello Every One, I have a '91 E-150, had to replace the tps and the truck now idles fine. 5.0L. But now the truck gives code 63? low voltage to tps. Is there something I need to check, and if so what? I tried clearing the codes and the 2 other codes that were there when I needed the tps are now gone and the new one is there, Thanks Kevin

hello, the con. for the sensor doesn't use any electical grease i think but you might want to check the connection is clean. also set your code reader for "wiggle" testing and move the con. around and see if your reader beeps. for your year you connect the reader on adio and hold. turn key to on, not start. flip the switch to test, back to hold then test again. now your ready to wiggle connections and listen for beeps. key off before disconnecting the scanner. hope this helps.
