New flash or SC Programmer

Not quite sure what to do.... I have an F-350 Lariet with the 6.0. I have been reading this site for some time but this is my first post. I have read the problems and quirks with the PSD, but mine has been flawless, with the exception of the "flutter" in the turbo when letting off the accelerator. Normal apparently!!! I just returned from a long highway trip with about 500lbs in the back and experienced the turbo bouncing as if I were tapping the accelerator. At the time I was pulling up a hill, probebly passing a cummins as this truck does soooooo easily. My question is this: The dealer says its a fuel calking problem, but recommends they re-program it as there is a new program comming out within the next few weeks that is supposed to rectify most of the 6.0 quirks. If I purchase the Supertuner programer, is this like a re-flash or will I still have this problem in the future. My only mods so far are are a K&N intake kit. I only have 6 k on it, and no matter how many problems I may have in the future (hopefully none), I would rather eat s%$# than drive a dodge!!! Thanks in advance for all your help.

Since the programmer is going to do basically the same thing the re-flash will do, you could just use the programmer and it may "fix" your turbo problem. With that thought in mind, let FORD take the burden of fixing the flash and use the programmer later. The potential to make matters worse is there if the programmer doesn't help.
