Hi guys,
Just wondering...does anyone know where I can get a Ford rear in-tank fuel pump for a 1990 F150 Supercab shortbed truck for less than $250???!!!
The part No. is F4TZ9A407R. I'm out in West Texas, but this price seems extreme...believe I read somewhere in previous posts that these went for about $150 elsewhere. Am I getting the shaft, or is this part really that expensive in your neck of the woods???
I can point you to a place that might help, but I can not recommend them because I have never used them. The company is OEM Parts Corp. They sell genuine ford parts for less than dealers. I e-mailed them to ask some questions about their company a while back and they seemed to be very nice people. They have a website- www.oempartscorp.com
The website is virualy bare (been under construction for 6 mos and hasn't changed)but you will be able to find their e-mail address there. Might be worth checking out.

That was me asking about thievery...er, pricing on that in-tank fuel pump.
Here in smoggy, dirty, polluted Houston Autozone rips you $133 or so, and Pep Boys are $150 and change.
Let me know what you find out; I haven't done anything yet and the front is going, going, go...
