You ever get that feeling your truck just aint that powerful? I've been getting that with my F150 lately. I'd love to have a F250. or even better,a 350. Don't get me wrong, them halftons are good, but sometimes, they feel real inadaquite.

why dont you just install a bigger engine in the ol' 1/2 ton? lighter wieght, better gas mileage, less registration costs, ect. and you get to keep your truck!
I know mine is a lot more of a truck since I've replaced my leaf springs. The original ones had 4 leafs and were wore out so I replaced them with a set that has 5 leafs. That was the biggest improvement I did to mine, it was money well worth spent.
I take trash to the dump and I take the F150,there is a scale there for weight in/out. I have had 1400lbs in the bed, it wasn't a strain on the 300, but I was worried the rear gas tank was going to bottom out! The 150 is probably good for 1000 pounds no more. I have almost cried a few times when I saw what happened to my bed when the loader at the nursery placed(not placed but dropped) a cubic yard of wet top soil in the bed.
Yea, it makes me sick to drive my f150 351 at 195 horse and then get into my grand prix with a 3800 at 200 horse and the prix out powers it and out torques it.
Isn't there a way to make the 150 a little more stronger? I've heard tougher suspension, but any others than that? And how much could they pull? (trailer, loaded properly.)

I have no idea what you're trying to say.
I've always been happy with the strength of my trucks. Realistic expectations = realistic satisfaction.
