Red face cruise control

Fuse blew on my F150 94 4x2. When the fuse blew the abs light came on so I pulled over and turned off the engine. When I decided to get another fuse, the truck wouldn't go out of park because the abs was screwed up along with the cruise control becasue of the fuse. HINT do not put the truck into park if the abs light goes on or you'll never get the truck out of park.

That's a good one. I'm guessing here but you could try pulling the battery for about 30min. That should give the comp enough time to lose power and revert to factory settings.

Can you get it out of park if you don't turn the key on?
I can't remember for sure if I can on my '94 but I think so. I'll try it when I get off work.

Had the same thing happen on my 94. Mine happened at a stop sign after some trailer wiring shorted out. I stopped at the sign, no traffic so I shut off the engine and jumped out to find the problem. Cars started coming so I jumped back in but couldn't take it out of park. I sure did some quick reading of the "Owner's Manual". Turned the key slightly, placed the shifter in neutral, and started the vehicle.
