56.00 bucks in Orange County. That included an oil change. I told them I can find the oil filter without their help, then the inspecton was free.
Chris
I had the service done a few months ago on my 02 Expy at my Ford dealer, which included tire rotation, oil & filter change, top off all fluids and the multi-point inspection. It cost me $39.00.
First service was free. Oil change is $24.95, tire rotation adds $10. The dealer always inspects the regular stuff and tops everything up.
For $24.95 and I get to stand and watch, I wouldn't do it myself. For $95.00 I would. That's a joke. You might get a quote from the local Chevy house and show it to your dealer. That should tighten them right up.
In the Kansas City area the dealerships have what they call the Works package which included oil and filter, rotation, multi-point inspection and fluids topped off for 34.95. THis hase been going on here for at least the last 2 years.
They have the Works value service deal here in Texas, $34.95 but it is valid with a coupon mailed to me. I had this service done in March, but they charged me $44.21 because I didn't bring the silly coupon. Oh brother! Even with special deals, there are always disposal fees and taxes not included. 90-something bucks though, wow! I think I would have a little talk with the service manager and see about an adjustment on this overcharge. Then maybe go elsewhere for service.
Hey Tom, I just went on the "My Ford" website and they have a national coupon for "the works" (tire rotation, oil change, inspection etc....) for $34.95 (plus oil disposal fee). I suggest you print the coupon and take it in to your dealership they may give you a deal or a refund. Good luck!

On my screen, after log in, it is under "service offers" in the middle of the page. I hope everyone can get to it and it is not just me. (boy would I feel silly)
Tom, They must have filled it up with gas and detailed, including wax?If not, you got hosed!I always use "My Ford" coupons for service on all three of my Fords.
