Has anyone successfully converted a drivers seat from manual operation to a 6 or 8-way electric? Is this relatively easy or a royal pain?
My eldest son drives a Chevy Venture and the configuration and positioning of the seat is a killer on a long trip. I can attest to that fact my ownself.
Am thinking along the lines of if the seat had more adjustments available perhaps the seating issue could be solved and we can run the van another 100K.
Any thoughts or experience is greatly appreciated.
Check with shops locally that do or service van conversions. Shouldn't be too horribly expensive if you have it done ($300 typically), or they can get you the parts to do it yourself.
