It was something like JP-7, and it was necessary to forward position it to bases that the aircraft was forseen to operate out of.

There was one instance where a "Habu" was diverted, and the locals got a look at this "Science Fiction" appearing aircraft through the airfield fence....
On that Japanese island, there was a local snake which was highly poisonous, and the name of it was "HABU".
This became the unofficial name of the aircraft
To this day...
I would suppose the airframe would be ok. Only sitting on the tarmac would make it go bad. The SR-71 was one of the only planes that every time it flew it got stronger. A result of Mach 3 tempertures on the titanium. So the more it flew the stronger the plane became.
