It is very simple, your best bet is to get a subscription for your truck from alldata.com. It will give you step by step instructions on every repair possible on your truck along with the torque specs and other good info.
If this truck is a 2005 and is in need of a brake job shouldn't warranty cover it? And can i ask what is wrong with the brakes that it needs to have one done so soon?
Sorry did not mean to imply that it needs brakes now. It will at some point and I was just thinking about the routine stuff I could do myself. Also,
I have 2 other cars, (98 wrangler and 04 Nissan Xterra [daughters car]) where brakes may be forthcoming. In the past on my old land crusier dealers wanted $500.00 and up. Found a good mechanic who would do it for about $300.00 But still, I know I can do it and I am home a lot more these days, so why not. BTW the 98 wrangler is on alldata, so I am considering it.
