Welcome to the V10 forum Electric!

Patience, each of us has a different but the same story....6 to 9 weeks is normal, longer is possible due to a host of factors.

No matter how long your BSEG will be there!

Post up a signature with your yet to be delivered ride so some of us can live vicariously through your new dream truck. Ours are old n dirty and loosing the new truck smell. Gaining some scratches, loosing some rubber, getting better each day.

Gotta go my truck needs me to stare at it some more!

6 weeks for me with a V10/6spd. Did you call your dealer to get a status update on the truck? It usually helps in making it seem like the truck gets there quicker. Good luck with the new truck.

Electric,

I also have a 2005 V10 6-speed on order. I ordered it on March 11th. My order confirmation from Ford had a "delivery to the factory date" of May, 2005. I am expecting delivery sometime in June, probably. What are the details on your truck?

The V10 is worth the wait. Mine was 8 weeks from order placed to in my driveway. After three months it still a big rush every time I crank up that V10. Good luck with your new trucks. Wrench.

6 weeks is about right for mine. Ordered March 19, production dated April 25, delivered to the dealer on April 28. Picked it up last night, but will be getting famialiar with it today. Have been reading all your posts this morning. Tried to find posts about break in period referenced in another thread, but have been unable to locate. It was supposed to have been authored by Fredvon4. Any help?

We ordered a E-350 van with v-10 and automatic for trailer towing. It took 12 weeks to get the van to the dealer. Of course we were out when it arrived, so it was nearly 13 weeks until we received it after ordering it. So far, it was worth the wait.

We have averaged about 13.3 mpg in the first 950 miles. I think that is good for a 6500 lb. vehicle with 4.10 RA and all that sheet metal.

Good luck.

The details of my ruck are XLT trim, white in color, v10 6speed, 4.10 rear axle, super cab, short bed. The short bed is the only thing that might be a dissapointment but had to to fit in garrage. present truck is a standard cab 8' bed and fits in garrage just fine. Thanks for the response.

Sam,
Welcome to the BSEG club, you're self-initiated! In answer to your question, click on Fredvon's name in the title bar, and on the new screen click on "view all posts". Work your way backward- it's the best info you'll get on your new ride.
