C6 speedo gear
I just changed my rear end from a 3.55 to 3.08 and got a new speedo gear to correct the speedometer and odometer. The one I took out is an 18 tooth and it was the correct one for the 3.55 rear end. The replacement was a 18 tooth also but it came up the correct part number in the ford dealership computer and book. I need to speed it up because if I am going about 40mph, I am actually going about 47ish. So, I would need a 17 tooth, right?
