Fluid

I recently had a shop change my oil pan, pump, and pickup tube on my 95 F150 2wd with the 4.9L. I was under there the other day greasing my tie rod ends and just doing an overall visual check. I noticed that there was some fluid that had been spun over the bottom of the truck and on the cat heat shield and such. I couldn't make out what it was, but seemed to be ATF. The truck runs down the road great with no major noise, so is this just some left over "assembly" lube? Im not sure, but I believe they took out the drive shaft, or is there some sort of seal that is leaking?

Sorry about the long post but its kinda involved so yeah...

Just check the fluid levels periodically, and the space where you normally park for leaks.

Could be the output shaft seal, they are usually easy to replace, that or maybe some grease was flung off your u-joint.
