Question Bronco II Projects

Lets see, by my last count we have Joe (FordThug), Jack (HappyJack), Tony (97Centurion) Kenny (BigSwede) and Rollie (FordBorn) all working on BII projects . Are there any others out there working on or planning a BII project? We need to keep an update on how everyone is doing on their project . Also be nice if each one created a gallery to have pictures as they go.

Hey Rollie if Kenny wants that glass gone you want to bring it down this way and I store it back over with "Jr." so we'll have it in case someone else needs it? Also I have a close to new gas tank for an 84 BII. Won't work in a 85. But if you or Kenny ever need one let me know. And could we post the year of the BII's we are working on so I don't keep forgetting. Guess that my fit in with the photo gallery thing. "Jr." is an 88 2wd right now.

Jack, sure thing I can bring the glass back down to you. Good idea on the years. I know there are 3 88's and 1 84 not sure what Kenny's is. I thought the 84 and 85 tanks were the same but changed in 86 when they went FI.

I checked the LMC book to be sure and the 84 BII tank is all by it's self. Then you have the tank for the 85-90. Sending units are different also. One is not listed for the 84 or 85. Then one is listed for the 86-88 (two fuel pump years) and another for 89-90 (single pump).

Someone would hafta come and take pics of my B2 since I lost the cables to connect it to the `puter when I moved. I did spy a B2 sitting next to a house north of seneca Kansas. Looks like it had been rolled too. Parts? All the glass was busted out. Might have decent interior parts, engine tranny or axles.

Ryan it looks like they won't let us play. The DW's Explorer is on jack stands for a brake job and a front wheel bearing check anyway. I had a couple of other things(mowing) to do tonight so won't get that finished for a couple of days. She won't let me take it to play anyway. Also the A4ld is getting weak. Anybody got one for a 94 exploder laying around.

I do have an A4LD but it is out of an 89 2.9. So it wouldn't hold up very long to the 4.0. I do have an extra C-5 though with a bell housing that will attach it to your 4.0. And it has an adapter that will attach to your t-case on the other end. But it is about 5 inches shorter than the A4LD so driveshaft work would be needed. No overdrive but the C-5 is strong and only cost $500 to rebuild.
