HI
I think its called a PLENUM CHAMBER its on the top of a 5 .0 liter 302 it goes where the older ones wouldve had a carburator and has the fresh air inlet hooked to it
what i need to know is how hard is it to remove this from the engine i need to remove mine to be able to get to the heater hoses to replace them easier than leaving it on there and how many bolts hold it on also and the torque they need to be at this is on a 88 f100
thanks
gordon
Upper Intake Manifold. Maybe 6 or so bolts. If your 302 has what looks like a trim plate on top of the manifold, held on with screws, take it off, I know the cars have a longer bolt or two under there. Use a new gasket, and torque to 12-18 ftlbs.
