electrical problems
when i turn my lights on, on my 82 f-100
my engine dies after a few seconds. Thought it might be my alternator, but when i disconnect the negative battery cable the truck runs fine. even when the lights are on. the problem only returns when the battery cable is put back on.
Already have replaced the regulator, and ignition module. please help.

electrical problems
You may also have a bad body ground. So when you turn on the light you get feed back through ignition causing it to stall. Check all your body grounds and ensure that they are clean and tight.
