bought an '05 in the middle of november and it now has 19,000 miles on it, in the past 2 1/2 months about 8,000 of that came with the gross weight over 14,000 lbs. i do need to go get a new fuel guage though, it started acting up 2 days ago. and I have had the gross weight as high as 26,500 lbs. im averaging about 750 miles a week right now!

OK, Hello everyone, I'll add my voice here. Been lurking.

'05 F250 Supercab, long bed Lariat five weeks old and 1250 miles. Runs great, the perma-grin on my face has not faded.

Great forum and a tremendous reference for info.

Thumbs up Great truck!

Have 55,000 miles on my 2004 4x4 6.0L, have not had to replace anything yet. No regrets buying this truck!

Well, I have a 2003 F250 Lariat FX 4x4 Crew Cab short bed and just rolled over 31000 miles and I love the truck! This is my first truck and my first diesel, and the only problem so far is the high price of fuel, but at least that has been dropping recently in the Dallas area.

Right now my odometer shows 31562.0 miles. Vehicle purchased June 2004. Truck production date is February 2004. Forget exact date.

Never been back to dealer.

I have replaced on my dime:
1) Radiator cap, puking coolant on bottle
2) Oil filters/fuel filters/trans main & bypass filter,engine/trans oil for normal service
3) Exhaust back pressure sensor and sensor feed tube
a) vehicle had several dead pedal issues this past winter.
b) found pressure sensor 50% plugged with wet carbon and engine oil deposits
c) sensor feed tube slightly blocked

I do have the annoying clunk when first drive away in the AM or whenever vehicle sits and I jump into vehicle to leave. I also have the banging during 2-3 shift.

I do have EGR codes. The EGR has never been unplugged. I have not been successful so far in removing the EGR valve to see how carboned up the unit is. I will possibly wait until the "RECALL" comes out.
