try to get codes out of the computer and run pinpoint tests . Most likely TP sensor, they are potentciemeters, resistances goes up as the throttle plate opens this is most likely the problem, they don't always leave a code in the PCM when they are going bad and developing dead spots.

another possibility. May be tps but I had one do about the same thing. Ended up being tfi module (little box on side of distributor) Mine would run fine up to about 50mph then cut out. Then when slowed down come back in. someone told me it could do the same thing anywhere in driving range.
