94 F350 owner
i have a 94 f350 with the 7.3 IDI turbo diesel motor and i was wondering if anyone could tell me about any companies that make performance parts for this motor. the injection pump has already been turned up and I want more horse power and torque

Look for the ATS turbo upgrade kit. It consists of a 3" turbo exhaust outlet and downpipe. The stock units are 2.5" and 2.25" respectivly. ATS also has an intercooler kit for these trucks. From what I have read the turbo outlet/downpipe make a huge difference. If you want more after that look into propane and/or water.

If you have stock intake and exhaust systems you can do a bunch by reworking them both.
First mod to do is the turbo outlet and exhaust using 3" pipe.
www.atsturbo.com is the place to get the outlet flange and downpipe, a good muffler shop can make the rest of the exhaust for you. The muffler should be a see through type 3" also.
Then you need to do a little work on the flat little air intake snorkel over the battery. That snorkel does not flow enough air for it to run good.
Also you should install a pyrometer and boost guage set before you try to make it run better, motors are expensive.

thanks for the info I already have autometer pyro and boost guages and a k&n air filter and was looking into dual 4" stacks for the truck
ps what do you mean by reworking the air intake your the first one to tell me about this

If you look at the stock system the hood only leaves about an inch or so between the air intake. Ist remove about 10 - 12 inches of the hood seal. the rubber gasket that runs alond the front, before the rad. This will give you a little more air. Then start looking for a way to run a tube to the front of the grill (or below) to get good fresh/cool air. Diesels like air in free flow out. Look at my post "just finished ATS"
