Traction bars or ladder bars?
I can probably email you some pics if you like, I have a grip of pictures, but I am semi-computer illiterate, haven't taken the time to figure out how to make an album for FTE.

You have mail pal, I will send some more pics when I get the chance. I used 1/4 plate for the top brackets, cut elongated slots for the mounting bolts in case I want to run a bigger bag (bigger bags have wider bolt spacing). Horizontal plate of top bracket is even with the bottom of frame rail. Bottom bracket is 2x3 rectangular tubing cut into an 'a' or pyramid shape (to facilitate ease of intallation of mounting bolt into bottom of bag) 6 1/2" length on the bottom, 4" on top, 4" round plate welded to top to mount bag to. 6 1/2 length fits perfect into top springplate (u-bolt bracket) 2" width of tubing still allows removal of u-bolt nuts. Bag is Firestone 'actuator' 255c, I actually saw these first on a railroad car when I was at work, you can get them at just about any spring/suspension supply house. Trucks I have done with less lift use slightly different variation of the top bracket, and I usually mount it up higher on the frame rail. Compressor and tank are on the right side frame rail, tank just clears the AMP Research PowerStep when it folds up against the rocker panel. I use a twin paddle switch and two needle guage, so I can put air in the bags independently.
let me know if you need anything else
