91 F450

Hi I am new to the site. I would like to know what it would take to put a 300(4.9L) in my F450. It came with a 7.3L diesel but it has been ringed once and now smokes like crazy, so instead of rebuilding it, I found a 6cyl for 75 bucks that is out of an 89 F150 that runs great and is fuel injected. The truck is a Regular Chassis Cab duelly with the disc brakes. It really is a nice truck. I think it has the 4.56 gears or something like that. I was thinking that this 6 would be a good motor to have and still get decent gas milage.
