What's this stuff

Hi all,

While washing my truck I noticed a thick material cracking and loosening in the gutter created by the drip rail. Pulled some out and found that it's begining to rust pretty good. I need to clean this stuff out and re-seal it. Looks like window putty. Anyone got a clue what this stuff is? thanks ............jim

It's body caulking. You need to remove the rust, seal it with an epoxy primer and then recaulk before painting.

I have some Por-15, do you think that will work, before calking?
