Broke truck need help
I have an 89 F-150 with the 5.8 and have had some problems. first the fuel pump relay, no big deal, than last week all the wireing from the rear fuel pumps and to the tank select switch melted. Now It has stalled and won't start. The other day I took off from a stop sign and as it started to get up to speed I felt a power loss and it just slowly died out. I had it pulled to a better spot to look at it. than it started. When It was turning over, it would catch a little than a little more till it started. Got it running Idled for ten minutes than tried going home. Same problem hitting the gas slow loss of power till engine dead. now won't start at all, any ideas. Has new High preasure fuel pump, Fuel pump relay, plugs, wires. distributor, rotor button, TFI, and Map sensor,
