Im having a bit of an issue with my truck (99psd). I put some fuel in it one night last week, but did not fill it all the way. the next day or so i noticed the guage was reading full. ive put about 130 miles on it since i fuel'd it. still reading full!!!!
Has anyone had this happen is it a common problem? I have to pull a trailer about 800 miles round trip leaving wed. i would like to know how much fuel i have heheheeh. I wouldnt even know where to begin with the ford stuff can anyone point me in the right direction on where to start.
I had the same thing happen on my front tank. Its the sending unit in the tank. Bad reostat. If the sending unit loses contact, or power, the default position of the gage needle is to the full side. Thats how it is on mine, anyway. Unplug the pigtail from the sending unit, then turn the key on and see what happens.
