For the Front. The 1st number is the Ratio, 2nd is # of teeth and 3rd is Part #.
My question is, this looks pretty simple they both have the same number of teeth. but why is the ratio different? Is having the different ratio ok?
Another question is I have the 10.50 Rear and the Rear gears here are 10.25 do I just get 10.25 bearings and be done, will my diff work?
The gears are actually the same ratio, for all intents and purposes. Some manufacturers actually have different ratios (slightly, i.e. 4.10/4.11) for different differentials. They work perfectly together. You didn't say what year your truck was, and Gas/Diesel, and what current ratio (3.73/4.10/4.30, etc.) Do some more research on gearsets. Precision is definitely not the first choice I would make, and I have used them in the past.
