hey guys, anyone (i'm sure greystreak does) know how much it should cost to take my 88 with a C6 tranny and switch it over to the E4OD? Yes i know that the C6 is bulletproof but having three gears and a good amount of 55mph+ driving with the price of gas....poor mix. Also......KNN filters.....what can you say about them other than......thank you?

Switching the tranny itself might not be that difficult, but you also need a control module, which I believe is part of the engine computer, and that could be a tad difficult to overcome.
If you do lots of hwy driving, you can try to increase the tire diameter an inch or two, or put in a bit taller (numerically lower) gear. That *may* help a little.
