surging 82' 400
my dad bought an 82 250 here a while back, the 400 in it only has like 20,000 miles on its supposable "rebuild" (not sure of how well it was performed) but since we got it we have done an oil change, plugs. wires, cap and rotor, and even went through the carb once, the power that it has isn't terrible, it has done just fine pulling small trailers around. but at low speeds and on light acceleration it surges, which if you have not experienced this, it is very, very annoying. also, its mpg doesn't quite seem up to par at 10-11, i have noticed that it seems pretty quiet, could a plugged exaust possibly cause this, if not what can?
