Smile Trans question

I have a 1994 Ranger 4.0L 5 speed stick.
1). Is the 1994 Ranger 5 speed trans the same for the 2.5L,3.0L and the 4.0L, if not what is the differance??
2). Where can I find a manual (or a webpage on line)to rebuild the 5 speed.
3). Where can I buy the tool to remove the line off the clutch slave cylinder (throwout bearing).
4) I was told that these 5 speed trans are not that good!! is that true????

Thank you for your time.

1) the manual trannies are not all compatible with all the engines. the biggest reason being the bolt pattern on the bellhousing. also i believe the input shafts have different numbers of teeth depending on the engine size.
2) http://www.drivetrain.com/transillm5r1_m5r2.html is a good site for parts and has blown up diagrams of the innards of the tranny. not really a step by step for rebuilding though.
3)not sure.
4) they are good if you take care of and operate them properly. NEVER use gear oil in the mazda (M5OD), use ATF fluid. Only the mitsubishi tranny uses gear oil
