Am I missing something?

I went out to try and set the timing on my truck today, and I could not find the timeing marks on the crank. (67' 352) Then I got to looking at it, and I don't see a harmonic balancer on my crank. Isn't there supposed to be one for these engines?

Here are some pics:

Maybe some sand paper will help you find what the pointer is aiming at. Give it a tray and report back.

It looks like you have the balancer with the sheave cut into it directly.
This was common.
John is right; a little sandpaper and a dab of white paint or "whiteout" wiped over the nothces will reveal them.
