still shaking
ok it me again with the 91' ranger 2.3l 2wd i checked the vaccum test on the cat and it turned out ok is there any suggestion please help
truck shake when i turn off of a highway and then when i speed up a agian it starts to vibrate intensly and then the shaking stops

cat problems please respond
i am wondering if my cats clogged, how to you tell for sure, i hooked a vaccum up to the intake and at 2500rpm it read 17in hg and stayed steady when i held the engine at 2500 for about a min and i half. the symtoms i have are it vibrates very badly when i slow down and go to accerate again.

mike, find someone with a tempeture gun! like they use to check how hot tires get after a burnout!! im told the reading should be hotter in the outflow back of cat, than the entrence part of cat! hope this helps!
