I have been having a problem lately...I have drained the HFCM recently because I got a warning about having water in fuel on the computer display. that all took place over Easter weekend. Well recently I have been getting the warning again but it only happens when I am turning. Has anyone had a problem with this? I don't want to have to keep on draining the HFCM because I know it can't be filling that fast. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hey ninerref,
You probaly have gotten some bad fuel since you last drained it. I have had the same problem when I turn. What happens is the water is getting close to the limit and when you turn, it's close enough to full, when it swishes to one side and activates the sensor. Just drain it again and you'll be fine. The water separator doesn't hold much, so one bad tank of fuel could do it. Hope this helps.
