Sanding
I'm about 50% on sanding down my truck. The box on it is off of a 94' the truck is an 88 and the front bumper filler panel, driverside front fender and driverside door are replaced. The paint on the 88 was quite thin compared to the box from the 94' with layers of crap. I've been taking the paint down to the grey primer and metal , the truck is mostly spotted of streaks where it goes from primer to metal. I read in the step by step paint thread i need to go to 300 grit. Is this what i need to use on the metal once i get done stripping it with 60 grit?
