Power Stoke Help
I am trying to help my brother out. He has a 1997 F-250 with the power stoke. He has 155k miles on it. Out of no where it has developed a weird problem. When driving(speed and RPM's do not matter) the truck will just die. No idiot lights come on no warning before hand. You can put the truck in neutral and start it right back up. We have taken it to the dealer and it shows no codes. It even died when the tech had it on the machine.
Has anyone had this problem? I am lost on where to start.

It's the Camshaft Position Sensor. And for a '97 you want the other forum for that year range truck and powerstroke, not the 6.0 forum. You'll find lots of discussion of the CPS and how to replace it in that forum.
