Brakes pulling

LAST EDITED ON 22-Sep-00 AT 05:42 PM (EST)[p]I have recently done a front brake job and now the truck pulls to the left when the brakes are applied. New parts were; new bearings, rotors, pads, and a new caliper on the passenger side. I bled the new caliper after I installed it. I must have pumped 4 - 6 ounces of fluid through but didn't seem to get much air out. Brake pedal does not feel very spongy either. Does this go away after a while or do I still have a problem?

replaced the caliper on the passenger side?

did you bleed out the drivers side as well? not that that could be the problem. but you usualy do both sides when you replace one caliper or wheel cyclinder.

one thing is you could have gotten the brake pads soaked with greese or brake fluid...if so.. it will not grab as well as the drivers side!

Probably a plugged rubber brake line on the side opposite the direction of the pull. It is fairly common so replace both of them. It is usually obvious when bleeding, the plugged side is harder to bleed.
