goodbye to the bean

well, my wife found a 99 windstar with 57 tho. miles in great shape that she had to have,...so i traded in the green bean ( our 91 aerostar) and we bought the windstar.
at last count the bean had 215,768 miles and was still running strong. i'm sure it will still be running somewhere....sniff snifff but i had to let it go. i am now trying to figure out the windstar. it at least is a ford, and reminds me of the aerostar! so i'm still in the family
thanks for all your help in my exploits over the last 4 to 5 yrs guys!! the assistance of input from this forum was a great help in keeping my 91 aerostar on the road!!! i will keep posting if i can offer a word to the wise at times...i like rweading the stories..now to find a 97 ext awd aerostar for me!!. meanwhile i may have to ask a question or two about the windstar!! gotta keep the wife happy... best wishes to all !!! rick

Rick, it has been a pleasure having you on the forum and I, for one, hope you continue to visit.

Stick around Rick... we need your knowledge and experience...and, besides, many of the Windstar systems are the same as the Aerostar

I hope the Windy runs as good as the Bean. I have yet to find a replacement for the Aero's that can do it all.

Good Luck and hope the Honey likes front wheel drive.

MY mom wouldn't give up here Aerostar for anything. If you told her she could have a new Freestar or Caravan in excahange for her Aerostar, she'd tell them to go jump off a cliff.
