I am thinking of buying that bed liner paint from Rhinoliner, which is a rubbery, grip-tape like surface you paint on your bed. Has anyone tried any of those that are on the market? Does any one brand stand out as the best? I heard that the one from Zebard is too hard and chips easily.
LAST EDITED ON 11-Sep-00 AT 10:50 PM (EST)[p]I Srayed my own liner in, using the kit from Dupli-color. The stuff they sell is quite good for the do it yourselfer. The whole set up cost me $105 & I bought the gun to spray it in with.
Not a real bad process. To me it looks better than a roll in liner. A friend of mine did the roll in liner from Dupli-Color but it doesn't look even close to mine. Plus his is now peeling out of his truck bed.
If you have a Hi-Lo/O'Reilly nearby they carry everything you need to do it. The gun (where I live) cost me around $40, and the gallon of Bedliner Material cost me $50. PLus I bought grease & wax remover and a Red 3M Pad to scuff the paint of the bed.
If you want I can email you a picture of what mine looks like after I sprayed mine in. (I wish I had one from before I sprayed it in though (but you know what they say about hind sight right?)
It sure looks alot better, and plus it didn't cost me the $400 that one of the local customizing shops wanted to spray one in for.
I have the ziebart spray in liner in my truck. P.O.S.!! it does chip easily, and ziebart really balks at fixing it under "warranty". They also fade terribly. Get the Rhino Liner and save yourself the headache later. My 2 cents.
