Radio reset code?
1996 Ranger /looks lile OE radio. changed batteries now radio flashes "code"
IS there a reset code or other problem solver?
Thisis my co owrkers Ranger- I have a sneaking suspicion that it's aftermarket

I had an aftermarket in my Mountaineer when I got it. I changed battery and it did the same thing. When I called the company they said it was a security feature and you needed a cd to make it work. They wanted $75 for it plus shipping. I just went and bought a new radio. Good luck with it.

Put the model number or brand of the radio and the word code in a google or yahoo search, and see what you come up with. You would be surprised the info that is floating around on the internet.
