Winch Bumper?
Ok Guys I am about as confused as I can get. Got a 2000 CC SD. I was given a Ramsey Worm Gear winch that came off of a totaled Electric Company Truck. Question is...Where can I find a winch bumper that will support a Worm Gear style winch? I have seem Ramseys web site and I really do not like the looks of theirs. They are a grill guard but only offer black and it pretty makes the truck look like a work truck. I love the Looks of the Off Road Tech Tubular bumpers with the prerunner bars. I do not have access to a welder so I cant make one myself. I have also looked at Ranchhands, Road Armor, etc. They all mount with the 4 bolts on the bottom of the winch. The Worm Gear style winch has 4 bolts on the front side of the winch and 4 on the back side, so I guess it needs to sit in some sort of cradle, Oh and the bolts keep the whole unit together.

That's an Off-road Technology Bumper.That looks sweet.

They say that each one is custom built. Maybe you could talk to them about the different mounting requirements.
