Headliner Replacement
Anyone ever replace the headliner in a Ranger? I have three burn holes on mine and it's the stiff cardboard type, one piece. I looked in on JC Whitney and there's are faom backed or the type you cover your all one with...how diffcult is it to remove one?

i got mine replaced for 79.95 at my loacal flea market.i didnt do it but i watched them .they started off by taking the two visors off the acceroocry light and the handles above the door. they pulled the headliner down and peeled the old material away. then they used this glue whic was really strong and then the pulled the new materi over the board. then they flipped it over and pulled it tighter and glued the ends down. the the just rasied it up and screw all the handle back on and the visors. they told me i would have to ride with the window down because of the strong smell..
but it looked pretyy easy (then again im not a pro)and they did a great job looks brand new..!

So you had your cardboard covered with another material?...that sounds neat, wonder where I can get that done here? Did you notice what the stock headliner was held in place with? I checked with Ford and they charge a fortune for a new one, maybe I can pull my own and cover it myself... my fingers are crossed
