Please don't flame need cummins help

My dad just bought a cummins today, but there are some querks about it and I'm looking for a good cummins forum. turbodieselregistry looks pretty informative but they aren't accepting new members. The pickup was owned by a friend of ours who was a bail bondsman that was having problems with the owner and through the coarse of the whole deal the kids parents gave him this pickup for keeping him out of more trouble. There were some questionable things about it, the speedo is showing 55k miles, but the ECM is showing 101k, it has a cool #5 hole and they replaced the injector and it is still cool(lazer thermo.) I know the circumstances really suck, but an 01 club cab 4x4 that books for 22k for 12900 sounds like something to work with(only reason it was bought) so if anyone can point me in the right direction(I know it will be hard with all of us die hard stroker fans here ) but any help will be greatly appreciated. Ohh yeah

I am a member there. A great site. The entire site is dedicated to just diesel powered Dodge Rams, no matter what year. Tons of great info there.
