Rear bumper

I have a question for y'all. I have a 97 OBS F350, LWB, DRW, PSD. I recently purchase this vehicle and I noticed that the rear bumper is the work bumper type and the front bumper is chrome. All though the truck is in good condition, I am restoring some of the worn items and cleaning up the chrome. I want to restore this truck to original condition. Did this truck come with the work bumper on the rear and chrome on the front? Thanks in advance.

The work bumper was probably added later or as a dealer installed option. Does it have a receiver hitch also? When going back to a chrome bumper, I would install a heavy duty frame mounted receiver hitch, as the chrome bumper is not rated that high for towing. BTW, welcome to FTE.
