Sad day

Well i am sad to announce the death of my 1990 f-150 as of 4-15-05 aprox. 4pm. i have added 2 pics in my gallerie of the aftermath

I'm sure from the pics ya'll have a good idea what it hit.......i wasn't driving it at the time but its an example of why you don't talk on yer phone and drive

my sister did it. she was in the process of buying it from me when she did it so it wouldn't have technically been mine for much longer. but i got the insurence money for it. 1800 for a 1990 LX 4x4

truck hit a pole doin 35-40 mpg......front bumper is toucing the front axle....engine broke both mounts and transmission and is pushed into the firewall....as far as frame damage i am not sure

Did you get more or less than you were asking for the truck?

I suppose this could be a win if you got more out of it through insurance and as long as your sister isn't hurt (is she?).

this is kind of a wierd question... but what happend to the pole? and what kind of pole? A Big truck should demolish most poles... not the other way around..

Also... I hope your sisters ok.

I got alot more money than i thought i would for that truck. I'll get some pics of the pole to put in my album......and believe it or not all that happened to my sister was a bruse on her shoulder from the seatbelt.

Well, that's most important that she is okay. Trucks and poles are replacable, whereas sisters are not.

Sorry about your truck. If your insurance company didn't take the truck, or don't plan to, sell the rear window on ebay, and work your way to the tailgate, part by part.
