In most cases it will not matter. However onee thing to look for when replacing is, if you have anegr tube that runs from one side to the other that you have the heads facing correctly. one side will have treads for accesories the other will not.

The air tube runs all the way thru the head, but the front of the head normally has a threaded insert that plugs the front of the tube and allows you to attach accessories to the front of the head. I have those inserts in the front and back on my 351W and have eliminated the air tube.
