4R70W **** Kit Questions?
I'm thinking of adding a shift kit to my tranny. There are 2 different kits.
1st; the TransGo AODE - SK shift kit, which corrects the inherent problems with the tranny, and sells for $46.
Second; the TransGo AODE-HD2, which is the Performance/Heavy Duty shift kit, which sells for $90
I'm also thinking of changing the aluminum/teflon accumulator pistons to rubber for 1-2 shift and 2-3 shift (Ford PN F7AZ-7F251-AA & F7AP-7H292-AA).
Does anybody have experience with these mods that could give some free advice? I'm low on cash so I need to make every cent count.
