Model 60 axle seals
I need to replace the axle seals on my '92 Ford F350 Model 60. I did ball joints etc. about 2000 miles ago but now I've got diff fluid leaking from one of the axle housings. I can find no install instructions in the Chiltons manuel. How tough of a job is this? I know I have to remove axles but what else is involveld?

You might need a "housing spreader" in order to remove the carrier.I have done it without 1,but it's no picnic.Make sure you mark the bearing caps and any shims plus there location and re-install exactly where they came from.
