I have read some articles on the net pertaining to the Buckshot Mudders. They seem to be a good tire. I have considered the Buckshots for my ride in the 35x12.5 flavor.
I believe they are a bias tire and I would like to know what the life expectancy would be before I'd buy them. I've been told that bias ply tires get better traction than their radial counterparts.
My sister just bought a set of Maxxis buckshots, and they look to be good. They are radial, and have the same tread depth as my swampers. As far as bias getting better traction, the tread design plays more into traction than the carcass. My SSRs seem to get pretty good traction. Anyway, I would recommend the buckshots, but don't really have that much experience with them, but they are cheap.
Hey, hey, hey, lets not get off track here. LOL Thanks for the input so far. I too have had numerous friends who've had the old buckshots before Maxxis bought the rights to the name.
