Dual Turbos...
Was reading through my RV magazine the other day and I seen an advertisement for replacement turbos for the Ford, GM and Dodge diesel engines. They mentioned dual turbos. I think they were only available for the Dodge's, but not for sure. Has anyone heard of a dual turbo system for the PSD's?

yeah theres a few guys runnin twins usually a holset hx 50/55 combo. full custom. theres even a guy runnin 3 on his truck im not sure how its working out for him havent talked to him in a while. nothing bolt on is avalible yet though.

It'd take a lot of work to get a couple of turbos working. I think the guy with 3 on his PSD had to get bigger injectors because it was running too lean. It can be done, but like jake said, a lot of custom work needs to be done first.

Jim Rose, DZLJIM, is the guy with three turbos, and he keeps breaking stuff when he fires it up, so it's still a crapshoot as to how well they really work. I know of one vendor that is in the process of getting ready to market a dual turbo set up for OBS trucks. (Another advantage to an older truck.) As a matter of fact, one set is on a truck right now, to see how well they work. If they work well, they'll be going public soon.
