Question 2004 F150 Wiring help needed

I'm installing a tranny temp gauge into my 2004 F150 Supercrew. I need to tie in a two 12v supplies to the gauge. One would have to be off of the ignition circuit so there is power to gauge when the ignition switch is on and another wired to the illumination system (dimmer switch). I'm trying to find a wiring diagram for the 2004's but am having no luck.

Also, any instructions as to how to pull out the light control switch so I can get at the wires.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the forum

Depending on where you're mounting the gauge an easy place to get the power wires you need would be at the back of the radio. The light green with yellow stripe wire is accessory power and the light blue with red wire is illumination. To remove the radio you just pull off the trim panel from around it and then there are 4 screws that hold the radio to the dash.
The small panel that the headlight switch is in just pulls out to remove the switch.

Did you notice that we also have a BC/Alberta chapter on here? It's a ways further down on the main forum page. You might wanna stop in there and say hi too
