Question Does it matter which way?

I am putting on Superlift dual steering stabilizers. This is the kit that runs the stabilizers in-line across the tie rod. The hand drawn picture in the directions shows the rod ends of the stabilizers pointing at the wheels. The written directions say to put the rods ends pointing towards each other.

I called Superlift tech, the tech says "I dunno let me go look at the truck in the parking lot." He gets back on the phone and says "the truck here has the rod ends pointing at the wheels." I reminded him the directions say to have the rod ends pointing at each other. "I dunno, this truck works o.k."

I thanked him for his (lack of) help, and will ask here.

Does it matter which way they are installed?

Thanks.

I have never seen a set that pointed inward, but I can't see what difference it makes.

It might look weird to me, though, snakebit, but that's all.

Install them as you see fit. Who's going to tell you that you did it wrong when they've evidently been installed both ways?

Thanks for the reply and the support, I just was having a vision of me putting them in wrong, them snapping off and digging treches in the Interstate.

Sparks everywhere!
