I have been posting that my truck is not starting up from cold well at all. It has a new injector (#7 mechanic said that should do it but it didn't...$725), new oil & filter, new air filter, nothing has worked. I have heavy duty batteries that are series 65 w/ 750ColdCrankingAmps and 890CrankingAmps...ADEQUATE?????
I'd start by looking in a few areas if the problem's only at cold startup.
I'd have the batteries load tested.
The other thing would be a complete checkout of the glow plug circuit. I'm not saying you need glow plugs. What I mean is; make sure the glow plugs are getting the required power. This will involve mainly all things involving the glow plug relay. Make sure it has power to it, and that it is closing and providing power to the plugs.
One last thing I'd check.....I'd make sure the fuel pressure is adequate.
Hope this helps.
