Yeah that sucks about Big Tower but Lucus rd is probably better anyway! I'm about 3/4 mile away from East Paulding High, you can hear the beautiful sounds of the dragstrip every weekend night, sometimes I can even get a smell of that sweet race gas, ain't Paulding county great!! you might have seen my old truck around all the kids seemed to know it, it's a 70' Candy Apple Red F-100 SB, it had a nice shiny paint job and solid Mag wheels, you couldn't miss the sound it has a 302 with a big cam, headers and turn down exhaust.

ccode67,
Cool deal, Yeah, Lucas road and Big Tower are off road areas but Big Tower is closed. I used to take my dirtbike there. I have never been to Lucas road though. Maybe we all can meet sometime in the D'ville or Dallas area. I dont know if I will make the 9th drag though. Gotta see whats happening that weekend.

Ryan, can you give me some directions to Lucas Rd.?
Is that the place close to the Cartersville airport?
We should all meet up, I may need to look at docs truck while I'm assembling mine. Major drawback was buying a basket case, lots of parts missing that I know of, lots more that I don't know about yet. Cab is coming off and frame going to the body shop for paint real soon.

Yeah maybe we could meet up that would be cool. Lucas rd is closer to Dallas than cartersville, you just go south on 61 and then after you get into Paulding county start looking for Cochran rd, it's a gravel rd, you follow it it crosses a paved rd then you just keep on going till you ht a fork and then you turn left and go until you find a suitable place to get onto the power lines. It's real fun with a 4-wheeler.

Well there's Fordstock this Saturday at Hard Labor Creek State Park. Or we could meet at Lucas rd since y'all ain't been there I was thinkin about going tonight, if I can use my friends 4-wheeler. If it ain't raining I'll be up at the strip tomorrow night in my truck, not racing though the old I6 is made for that!
